My art primarily consists of various sculptures made of glass. Using traditional glassblowing techniques, I create my work from start to finish. My recent pieces offer an alternative perspective on glass as a medium. For me, glass is a warm and versatile material that does not necessarily have to maintain its transparent properties. Instead, it holds unique qualities that can be explored and enhanced. Through years of experience and mastery of various techniques, I find that my creativity distinguishes itself from tradition. I create art for my own well-being, which makes each piece deeply personal. My work is characterized by an eagerness to experiment and bold, untamed ideas that take shape and form. Glass is an extraordinary material that allows for a unique interaction between the creator and the artistic process.
Since beginning my studies in the Kingdom of Crystal in southern Sweden in 2013, I have worked with several successful artists and craftsmen. Many of these opportunities have been abroad, which has been both technically and culturally inspiring. My artistic journey has enriched me, providing valuable skills and knowledge—most notably, the ability to build my own workshop. This unique workshop is currently located in Dalsbruk, Finland. While I will always have a studio in my childhood home region, I also have plans to establish another studio in Helsinki in the near future.
If you are interested in any of these pieces, feel free to reach out to inquire about pricing and availability. I only conduct direct sales, so some artworks may already be sold. If you have any questions about my work, don’t hesitate to contact me.
The glass sculpture represents a bold convergence of historical glassblowing techniques with a contemporary, unconventional approach that challenges traditional boundaries.
By integrating the force of a shotgun blast during the blowing process, the piece becomes an exploration of the freedom to engage with materials in unexpected ways, transforming the
otherwise fragile, precise art of glass into a dynamic interaction between CONTROL and CHAOS.
The act of shooting the glass, traditionally a symbol of destruction, becomes instead a moment of creation, reflecting a broader freedom to experiment and push boundaries in art.
Usually between June and October, I am actively working in my studio. If the door is open, you are always welcome to step inside.
During summer, my opening hours are around 10:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Saturday.
